These Gift Card Purchase Terms & Conditions apply to all Gift Cards purchased from Coles Group Limited through the Website.
The following definitions apply to these Terms & Conditions.
Access PIN means the 4-digit Access PIN printed on the back of the Gift Card.
Card Number means the identification number that appears on the Gift Card.
Coles Group means Coles Group Limited ABN 11 004 089 936 of 800 Toorak Road, Hawthorn East, Victoria 3123, Australia.
Delivery Address means:
Delivery Fee means the fee payable for the delivery of the plastic Gift Card(s) to the Recipient as specified on the Website.
eGift Card means any electronic gift card issued by Coles Group that you have purchased through the Website for one or more of the Participating Retailers.
Expiry Date means the date specified on the Website for each Gift Card expiry which may vary for each Participating Retailer and each type of Gift Card, after which the Remaining Card Value on any Gift Card will not be available for redemption.
Gift Card means any plastic gift card or eGift Card issued by Coles Group that you have purchased through the Website for one or more of the Participating Retailers.
Order means an order by you to purchase Gift Card(s) from Coles Group through the Website.
Participating Retailers means the retailers specified on the Website at which each of the Gift Cards can be used to purchase goods or services.
Personal Information includes, but is not limited to:
Recipient means the individual (which may be you or another person) to whom the Order is to be delivered, as nominated by you in the Order.
Website means https://giftcards.com.au or at such other address should the URL change.
A reference to we, us or our is a reference to Coles Group.
A reference to you or your is a reference to the purchaser of a Gift Card from the Website.
By purchasing a Gift Card you:
A minimum of $10 and a maximum of $500 can be loaded onto each Gift Card to a maximum Order value of $1000 excluding postage.
We may change at any time the minimum and maximum amounts that can be loaded onto a Gift Card at our sole discretion.
You agree to pay the nominated Gift Card value(s) in respect of each Order placed and any delivery fees (if applicable).
You may use Mastercard, Visa, Amex or Union Pay credit cards for payment of an Order. We do not accept other forms of payment for an Order. Payment must be cleared before Gift Cards are dispatched.
Gift Cards are only available for delivery to and use within Australia. All Orders:
Please allow additional time during peak Order periods such as Christmas. We do not accept responsibility for Orders which do not arrive within the period specified.
Delivery Fee applies for the delivery of plastic Gift Cards only. If an Order exceeds 10 Gift Cards, a Delivery Fee will be applied to each package of 10 Gift Cards. A maximum of 10 Gift Cards will be delivered in a single package.
We will not be responsible for any lost or misdirected Gift Cards, including where an incorrect address or email address has been provided to us.
Anyone with access to the nominated email delivery address who receives the eGift Card(s) will be presumed to be authorised to receive the eGift Card(s) on your behalf. We do not accept liability for any unauthorised acceptance and any consequential unauthorised redemption of an eGift Card.
Each plastic Gift Card sent to a different postal address attracts a separate Delivery Fee which cannot be bundled together.
A person must be at the Delivery Address to accept delivery of the plastic Gift Card(s). Anyone at the Delivery Address who receives the plastic Gift Card(s) will be presumed to be authorised to receive the plastic Gift Card(s) on your behalf. We accept no liability for unauthorised acceptance and any consequential unauthorised redemption of a plastic Gift Card. If there is no-one at the Delivery Address or no-one of the appropriate age to receive the plastic Gift Card(s) (or the person is unable or unwilling to provide appropriate proof of age), a calling card will be left for you to collect the plastic Gift Card(s) from the post office. We do not accept responsibility for late delivery or non-delivery due to incomplete or incorrect details provided. An Order must be accepted at the nominated delivery address within 30 days from the date it is dispatched. An Order will be returned back to us if it is not collected within 30 days from the date it is dispatched. Returned Orders may take up to14 days to be received by us.
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for another denomination or tender (i.e. cash).
We are not responsible for and are unable to replace Gift Cards which are lost or stolen.
If you believe the Gift Card has been tampered with prior to receipt, you must contact us immediately. See clause 12 for contact details.
Gift Cards cannot be refunded or returned, unless required by law. Delivery Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
Once submitted via the Website, Orders cannot be cancelled unless required by law.

Risk and title in the Gift Card(s) passes to you upon payment for the Gift Card(s). We will not be responsible for any lost or misdirected Gift Cards, including any eGift Cards lost or misdirected by email where it can be shown that the email was sent to the address set out in the Order. Nor will Coles Group be responsible for the unauthorised acceptance and any unauthorised redemption of a Gift Card by any person.
