Where can I buy gift cards?

If you wish to give a Gift Card which is valid for only one store, you can buy your card at each of the retailers listed below. Your card is then valid for this retailer, and this retailer only:

  • Coles
  • Coles Express
  • Target
  • Kmart
  • Officeworks
  • Liquorland
  • Vintage Cellars
  • 1st Choice Liquor Superstores

Even easier, you can purchase a Coles Group & Myer Gift Card, which can be redeemed in any of the above participating stores.

Coles Group & Myer and store Gift Cards may also be purchased online.

Can I buy gift cards online?

Yes.  Coles Group & Myer and store Gift Cards can now be purchased online.

 

Can I purchase gift cards on behalf of a company?

Yes.  To purchase Gift Cards on behalf of a company visit our corporate website.

 

What value can I put on a gift card?

A Gift Card can be loaded with any value between $5.00 and $500.00.

 

Redeeming Gift Cards

 
When will a Gift Card expire?

Your Gift Card will expire 2 years from the date of purchase. If you want to check the expiry date on your Gift Card you can check at selected registers in store, or by calling our Customer Response Team on 1300 304 990.

You will also find out the expiry date of your gift card when you check your balance online.

 

Can I add more value to a Gift Card?

No, once a Gift Card has been purchased, the value on it cannot be increased.

 

Is there anything I can’t use my Gift Card for?

Yes, some restrictions apply. You cannot use your Gift Card for:

  • Credit card or store card payments
  • Online purchases
  • Some products and services in stores.

Can I return or refund a Gift Card?

Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded. Please read the Gift Card Terms of Use.

 

Can I return purchases made with my Gift Card?

Yes, our normal store return policies apply. Just present the item with your Gift Card and receipt at the store where the purchase was made.

 

Gift Card balance and transaction history

 
How do I check my Gift Card balance?

You can check your Gift Card balance online. You will need to sign in using your Gift Card number and 4-digit Access PIN on the back of your card.

When you sign in to check your balance online you can also see your card’s expiry date and a list of your Gift Card transactions.

Every time you use your Gift Card, the remaining balance is printed on your receipt. You can also check your card balance at selected registers in stores, or by calling our Customer Response Team on 1300 304 990.

 

How do I get a list of transactions made with my Gift Card?

You can get a list of your Gift Card purchases when you check your balance online or by calling our Customer Response Team on 1300 304 990.

What is the difference between a Coles Group & Myer Gift Card and a store card?

Coles, Coles Express, Target, Kmart, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and 1st Choice Liquor Superstore all sell their own store Gift Cards for exclusive use in their stores.

The Coles Group & Myer Gift Card can be used in any participating store. This gives you a lot more choice and shopping flexibility. For example, you can use the Coles Group & Myer Gift Card to buy clothes at Myer, then groceries at Coles and toys from Target.

To find out whether you have a Coles Group & Myer Gift Card or an exclusive store Gift Card, check the back of your card or card carrier for the list of stores that accept your card.

What should I do if my Gift Card is damaged, lost or stolen?

Your Gift Card is just like cash, and you are responsible for the safe keeping of it at all times. If your card is lost or stolen, unfortunately we are unable to replace or refund it.

If your card is damaged, please take it into a store and have it checked by one of our Customer Service team members.  It is important that you read and understand the Gift Card Terms of Use.
